We produce a variety of spun yarns from the wonderfully soft fleece of our Shetland sheep. To find out what we currently have available, or to request something specific for your needs please get in touch.

Natural coloured yarn skeins

We have a variety of hand spun yarns in all the natural Shetland colours. They come in skeins of 50g-70g. Yarn length approximately 240’.

Colour blended yarn skeins

Some yarn is available that has been hand blended with dyed fleece and then hand spun to produce beautiful earthy colours inspired by the moors, coasts and countryside of Devon. These mix very effectively with the natural Shetland colours. 

Drum carded batts

Washed and carded fleece in all the natural colours are available as Drum carded batts .

Machine carded slivers

Processed by The Natural Fibre Co. these are available in fawn, light grey and dark grey with black and moorit – brown available soon, and ready for spinning or felting.

In the future I hope to have for sale, balls of my Shetland  wool spun by The Natural Fibre Co.
